It was so simple to make..when I say simple I mean it! I had it done in about 30 minutes! The kids had a blast sorting through scrap book paper, picking out the colors they thought were the best and punching out all the hearts with the heart hole puncher.
All you need are a few supplies to get started so read on down to make your own heart decoration today!
- Mod Podge Original Glue, Matte Finish
- heart hole punch – I used a Creative Memories one I had but you could always find one on Amazon too! Martha Stewart Crafts Heart Punch
- scrap book paper (random sheets)
- hanging wood heart (from my local craft store)
- paint brush
Paper and Wood Heart Decoration
FIRST: Collect scrapbook paper, wood heart and hole punch. Punch out as many hearts as needed for your wood heart size.
SECOND: Using a paint brush, paint the mod podge onto heart cut outs and apply hearts wherever you choose until the entire wood heart is covered. Let dry.
THIRD: Reapply mod podge lightly over entire surface and let dry. When dry and clear reapply again. You are done!!
Now just hang your finished heart in the perfect spot and enjoy!
