## CROCHET GRANNY RIPPLE TUTORIAL – Free Pattern

**TO GET STARTED**

**Yarn & Hook:** Use 3 colors of any weight yarn and corresponding crochet hook as stated on yarn package. (I used Impeccable yarn from Michaels in Aqua, Soft Taupe, and Arbor Rose but any **worsted weight yarn** will work if you want it to look like my sample!)

Can this be done with just one (or two) large skeins of multicoloured yarn instead of alternating colors?

Krista

Yep and that would be perfect with no ends to weave in! ๐

Well l am stumped. It doesnโt state how many chains to do for the Granny Ripple Afaghan

Krista

Hi! It is under the Granny Ripple Tutorial Detail Section:

With your first color chain a multiple of 18. A multiple of 18 is just 18+18 added over and over again. For example: 18,36,54,72,90,108,126,144,162,180,198,216,234,252,270,288, 306,324,342,360,378,396,414,432,450,468,486,504,522,540 etc.

Happy Crocheting!

Lauren

In the foundation row when you said { 3 double crochets, 3 chains, 3 double crochets }, what did you mean?

Krista

Hi Lauren,

You do 3 double crochets, chain 3, 3 double crochets all in one stitch. ๐

Happy Crocheting!
