It was so simple to make..when I say simple I mean it! I had it done in about 30 minutes! The kids had a blast sorting through scrapbook paper, picking out the colors they thought were the best and punching out all the hearts with the heart hole puncher.
This really is the perfect Valentine’s day crafts for kids! If you are like me and wonder when is Valentine’s Day only to realize it’s the next day then this craft is for you!

Materials Needed for your St. Valentine’s Craft
- Mod Podge Original Glue, Matte Finish
- Heart hole punch – I used a Creative Memories one I had but you could always find one on Amazon too! Martha Stewart Crafts Heart Punch
- scrapbook paper (random sheets)
- hanging wood heart (from my local craft store)
Make your Own Valentine’s Day Decor
FIRST: Collect scrapbook paper, wood heart, and a hole punch. Punch out as many hearts as needed for your wood heart size.
SECOND: Using a paintbrush, paint the mod podge onto heart cut-outs and apply hearts wherever you choose until the entire wood heart is covered. Let dry.
THIRD: Reapply mod podge lightly over the entire surface and let dry. When dry and clear reapply again. You are done!!
TO FINISH: Now just hang your finished heart in the perfect spot and enjoy!
