The Yarn that’s perfect for this crochet beanie
To make the Fiona I used Lion Brand Wool – Ease Thick & Quick in Gray Marble which is one of my favorites! If you haven’t had the chance to work with this yarn, it is a super bulky and soft yarn that has a beautiful natural looking tone to it. You’ll love it! You can find it in a variety of colors so it definitely is a must try! 🙂

Happy Crocheting!
Thanks for sharing your patterns. I am searching for a hat pattern to wear for my winter walking. If I wanted to make this hat for an adult sized head, would I just crochet more rows?
Thanks again for sharing:)
Hi Gail,
You are welcome!! If you wanted to make the hat for an adult you have to make a the top a little wider (add one or more increasing rows). Hope this helps! 🙂
Could this be for a girl or boy?
Hi Maresa!
Yes it can! 🙂
Hi!
I’ve made my first last night exactly as called for and came out very small. So I pulled out last two rows, did two more rows of round 4 and then finished off again. Bottom was still WAY too tight. So I pulled those rows again and then re-did them with a bigger hook (11.5mm) and it’s still tight. This doesn’t say it’s for a child but that’s the only person it would fit. Even with me adding the two extra rows. How can I adequately make this tut for an adult?!? Please help! Thanks 🙂
Hi! What yarn did you use? The Wool Ease Thick & Quick?
