The Yarn that’s PERFECT for this granny stitch scarf
I designed the simple granny scarf in color blocks of color because I love the color-blocked look! If the combination of colors is too much then I would suggest you crochet this in just one color for a classic simple look!
For this pattern, I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice because I love how well it lasts with all the wear that scarves can get! You will thank me later! 🙂
Add Fringe to Spice it up!
If you live on the wild side and would like your simple granny scarf to be a little less simple I have included instructions below on how to spice it up! AKA adding some fringe! I know fringe isn’t for everyone so that’s why this is an optional addition to your granny scarf! 🙂

ADDING FRINGE (optional) :
Adding fringe is simple! Check out my step by step tutorial on how to add fringe to crochet patterns and projects! It’s easy.. I promise! 🙂 I added 8 fringe pieces (3 pieces of cut yarn each in Linen) evenly across the bottom of each end of the scarf with a crochet hook and should look something like pictured below.
Again, please feel free to use the tutorial linked to above on how to add fringe if help is needed! If you are not a fringe type of person then go ahead and skip this part and wear the scarf as color-blocked grannies!
